Questin on keeping behaviour with cookies 2007/08/27 23:52
Hi Rick,

I have a question regarding the use of the .makeResizable behavior. I implemented this behavior successfully to adjust the layout width. However when I reload the page or go to another page the window resets to its original size. I would like to know if it is possible to save the adjusted window size with a cookie or any other means, so that the new layout width stays the same ( the adjusted size) when browsing to new pages.

You need to store a cookie in the browser.

Use this cookie tracking code (if you are using mootools) as a template to work from:

Hi Rick,

I read that quick clip and have used implemented it successfully already with other behaviors. what iI cant figure out how to use it with:

/* Resizable */
$('wrap-a').makeResizable({
handle: 'ResizeHandle',
modifiers: {x: 'width', y: false},
cookie.set(????????)
});

I'm a mootools newbie so maybe its obvious but I dont see it.

Joachim

PD. I'm having a problem with the site. I get logged out very fast so sometimes when writing a post I loose it because I got logged out(I do have cookies enabled)
